We believe our people are our most important asset, offering a dynamic and international working environment with continuous development opportunities. Due to our expansion in India, we are looking to reinforce our Sales team by incorporating a Sales Assistant based in Mumbai.
Your Role
- Support the Sales team in the Indian market with daily commercial and operational activities
- Follow up on orders and keep customers informed about order status
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, purchasing, finance, etc.) to ensure timely execution of orders
- Manage customer requests related to samples, documentation, and product information
- Handle and prepare documentation such as invoices, packing lists, COAs, and other relevant documents
- Maintain and update customer data in ERP systems
- Support new customer onboarding and account setup
- Handle customer queries and ensure timely and professional responses
- Assist in preparing sales reports and tracking commercial activity
- Support the resolution of customer complaints in coordination with the Sales team
Your Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or commercial operations
- Experience in the chemical industry, flavors & fragrances, or related sectors is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- Experience with ERP systems (Navision is a plus)
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
