Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales & Service representative – Screw Air Compressors to join our team in Chennai, TN. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in industrial-grade screw compressors, customer relationship management, technical sales, and service coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving compressor business growth through technical sales, solution-oriented customer engagement, aftermarket service coordination, and strategic business development within industrial markets. This role demands a strong combination of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and customer-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the industrial screw air compressor business across Chennai and surrounding industrial regions.
- Identify potential customers, industrial projects, OEMs, and maintenance opportunities.
- Generate leads, conduct client visits, and build long-term business relationships.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on customer requirements.
- Drive sales targets and contribute to overall business growth strategy.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and engineering teams for successful project execution
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely response to service requirements and customer escalations.
- Maintain strong after-sales relationships to support repeat business and annual maintenance opportunities.
- Lead and manage all service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities related to industrial screw compressors for customer work orders.
- Take complete ownership of field service execution, preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown support, and customer service coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3–7 years of experience in industrial compressor sales, service engineering, or technical business development.
- Strong understanding of screw air compressors, compressed air systems, and related industrial equipment.
- Experience handling industrial clients, manufacturing units, or plant operations is preferred.
- Ability to independently manage client interactions and technical discussions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/reporting tools is an added advantage.

Compensation
Salary: ₹30,000 per month + performance-based incentives and applicable allowances.
