Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajmer for a Sales and Marketing Specialist in Industrial Gears and Gearboxes. The specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and promote RKMT’s gear and gearbox solutions to industrial customers. Daily activities include conducting market research, preparing sales proposals and quotations, delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and coordinating with the technical and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met. The role also involves planning and executing marketing campaigns, participating in industry events, maintaining accurate sales records and reports, and providing post-sale support to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills for engaging with clients, presenting technical products clearly, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Proven Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals in industrial or engineering products.
- Sales Management and Training skills to support sales planning, pipeline management, and coaching of team members as needed.
- Experience in industrial products, preferably gears, gearboxes, or material handling equipment.
- Ability to interpret basic technical specifications and collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams.
- Proficiency with standard office and CRM software for documentation, reporting, and customer follow-up.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
