Role Description The Sales and Marketing / Accounts Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Siliguri. The specialist will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs. Daily responsibilities include presenting products and services, negotiating terms, preparing proposals, and supporting marketing activities such as campaigns, promotions, and local outreach. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, following up on leads, tracking sales performance, and providing feedback to improve sales and marketing strategies. The specialist may also assist with training team members on sales processes and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify leads, present solutions, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
- Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management skills to support team development, guide sales processes, and help achieve targets.
- Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in a similar industry or regional market.
- Ability to work on-site in Siliguri, manage time effectively, and meet performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by strong relevant experience.
