Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Patna. The specialist will promote Root My Trip’s travel services, including flights, hotels, holiday packages, and visa assistance, by engaging potential and existing customers through calls, in-person meetings, and digital channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, presenting travel options, preparing quotations, closing bookings, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar tools. The role also involves executing marketing campaigns, supporting social media and promotional activities, and coordinating with operations to ensure a smooth customer experience. The specialist will provide customer support before and after booking, collect feedback, and collaborate with the team to improve sales strategies and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues.
- Proven Customer Service skills for handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Demonstrated Sales skills in lead generation, conversion, negotiation, and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in Training or coaching team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer handling.
- Basic Sales Management skills such as pipeline tracking, reporting, and coordination with management on targets.
- Familiarity with travel industry products (flights, hotels, packages, visas) is preferred.
- Comfort using computers, CRM tools, and messaging platforms for daily work.
- Ability to work on-site in Patna, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
