Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Banka. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach to prospective merchants and partners, and managing a sales pipeline to drive adoption of PayPal solutions. The specialist will support the planning and execution of local marketing campaigns, assist with promotional activities, and track campaign performance metrics. Daily tasks include engaging with customers and partners, delivering product presentations and basic training, gathering market feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations and customer support. The role also involves preparing sales reports, maintaining accurate CRM data, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience at every stage of the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Customer Service and relationship-building skills, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and long-term engagement.
- Proven Sales experience, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing, preferably in financial services, fintech, or related fields.
- Sales Management and pipeline management skills, including forecasting, reporting, and use of CRM tools.
- Experience in Training or presenting product features and benefits to customers, partners, or internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data to inform decisions and improve performance.
- Ability to work on-site in Banka, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with digital payments, e-commerce, or financial technology is an advantage.
