Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-performance B2B Sales Specialist to drive institutional adoption of GuruAI across schools and colleges. This role focuses on direct outreach, relationship building with decision-makers, and closing high-value deals with a strong commission-driven structure.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target schools, PU colleges, and educational institutions
Build relationships with principals, management, and academic heads
Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to institutional needs
Drive end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation → pitch → negotiation → closure
Collaborate with product team to align offerings with school requirements
Maintain pipeline, track conversions, and report performance metrics
Represent GuruAI at education events, expos, and networking opportunities
Requirements
2–6 years of B2B sales experience (EdTech preferred)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proven track record of closing institutional deals
Ability to work independently with ownership of targets
Understanding of school systems, curriculum structures, or education ecosystem is a plus
Compensation Structure
Fixed Base Salary: Com
petitive
High Commission Model:
10% – 20% per closed deal (depending on deal size & margin, Avg deal size 50L)
Additional performance bonuses for monthly/quarterly targets
Incentives for multi-school or chain-level closures
No cap on earnings (performance-driven upside)
