Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The specialist will identify and develop new international and domestic business opportunities, manage leads, and build long-term relationships with importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and private-label buyers. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating samples and product presentations, and supporting negotiations to close deals.
The role will also involve planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing digital and trade-related marketing assets, and collecting market feedback to strengthen product positioning and brand presence. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams on pricing, export documentation, compliance, and logistics to ensure smooth order execution and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service to engage professionally with global clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability in Sales and Sales Management to generate leads, manage pipelines, and achieve or exceed targets.
- Experience in Training team members or channel partners on products, sales processes, and best practices.
- Knowledge of export processes, documentation, and international trade practices is highly desirable.
- Background in B2B sales, preferably in herbal products, superfoods, food ingredients, dehydrated products, nutraceuticals, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, basic office software, and online communication platforms.
- Ability to work on-site in Gujarat, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a target-driven environment.
- Understanding of global food industry trends, natural ingredients, and health & wellness products will be an added advantage.
