Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales and Marketing Specialist based in Kanpur Nagar. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and achieving sales targets for the company’s product portfolio. The specialist will conduct market visits, meet retail and distribution partners, gather market feedback, and support promotional activities to increase product visibility. Daily responsibilities include preparing sales reports, coordinating with the production and logistics teams for order fulfillment, and assisting in the execution of local marketing campaigns. The role also includes providing product information and basic training to channel partners and frontline sales teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and address customer needs effectively.
- Proven Sales and Sales Management capabilities, including lead generation, negotiation, closing deals, and managing a sales pipeline.
- Ability to conduct Training sessions for channel partners or team members on product features, selling points, and market positioning.
- Experience in field sales, FMCG or food products industry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in the field, plan routes, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with local travel within Kanpur Nagar and surrounding areas as required.
