Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Surat, with the flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Sales and Marketing Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities for woven fabrics and BOPP bags, manage existing customer accounts, and support sales growth across target markets. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting product presentations, preparing quotations, and negotiating contracts in coordination with internal teams. The role involves executing marketing activities, supporting trade shows or industry events, collecting market intelligence, and contributing to promotional content and campaigns. The specialist will collaborate closely with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and consistently met, while maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based client relationships.
- Proven Sales experience, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals in B2B or industrial/product-based environments.
- Sales Management and Training capabilities, such as supporting targets, reporting on performance, and sharing product knowledge with colleagues or channel partners.
- Familiarity with textiles, packaging, or manufacturing sectors (woven fabrics, BOPP bags, or related products) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM tools, email) and comfort with digital communication for client interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Surat, manage time independently, and travel locally or regionally as required for client visits.
