Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Representative role based in Mumbai. The Sales and Marketing Representative will identify and qualify leads, conduct product demos, and clearly explain Qobo.dev’s value proposition to prospective users, including small business owners, freelancers, and startups. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, following up on inquiries, and closing deals to meet or exceed monthly targets. The representative will support marketing campaigns by gathering market insights, participating in events, and coordinating with the marketing team on messaging and outreach. Day-to-day responsibilities also include providing responsive customer service, onboarding new users, and offering basic training so customers can quickly understand and benefit from the platform.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal explanations and concise written messaging.
- Proven Sales and Sales & Marketing skills, with experience managing a pipeline and achieving targets.
- Customer Service and Training abilities to support, onboard, and guide new and existing users.
- Experience in tech, SaaS, or startup environments, preferably in B2B or SMB segments.
- Comfort speaking with diverse customer groups, from small business owners to founders and professionals.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage time effectively, and handle a high volume of interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with digital tools, CRM systems, and basic understanding of mobile apps and web technologies is a plus.
