Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Representative role based in Hubli. The Sales and Marketing Representative will engage with walk-in customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable small appliances and vacuum products. The role includes demonstrating product features, explaining benefits, and guiding customers through purchase decisions. Daily tasks involve maintaining product displays, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, and keeping the showroom clean and organized. The representative will handle sales transactions, follow up with customers, and support after-sales inquiries. Marketing responsibilities include helping execute in-store promotions, supporting social media and local advertising initiatives, and gathering customer feedback to improve campaigns. The role may also involve basic product training for customers, coordinating with service staff, and updating management on sales trends and customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and the ability to explain product features and benefits.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and resolving concerns professionally.
- Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to drive retail sales, support promotions, and meet or exceed targets.
- Ability to provide Training to customers and team members on product use, care, and key differentiators.
- Prior experience in retail, consumer electronics, or home/kitchen appliances is an advantage.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for billing and inventory updates.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in an on-site retail environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move products as needed, with appropriate workplace safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or marketing is a plus.
