PayOps is a stablecoin accounts payable automation platform for the onchain economy. We help crypto-native teams — DAOs, DeFi protocols, Web3 startups — settle invoices in USDC via Safe multisig with AI-powered invoice extraction, pre-execution simulation, and flat-fee pricing. Live on Base and Arbitrum.
The Role
You'll be our first dedicated growth hire — owning the full funnel from awareness to closed deal. This is a founding team-level role where you'll build the GTM engine from scratch, not inherit a playbook. You'll work directly with the founder.
What You'll Own
Marketing (top of funnel)
- Build and execute organic content strategy across LinkedIn and X (crypto Twitter), targeting DAO treasury managers, crypto CFOs, and onchain ops teams
- Write and publish 3-4 LinkedIn posts per week and daily X threads/replies from the brand and founder accounts
- Manage paid campaigns on LinkedIn (boosted posts, Campaign Manager) and X Ads with small budgets ($500-2K/month to start)
- Create landing page copy, case studies, one-pagers, and demo videos as the product matures
- Build partnerships with crypto media, newsletters, and community DAOs for distribution
Sales (mid + bottom of funnel)
- Own outbound prospecting — identify and reach out to target accounts (DAOs, crypto startups, DeFi protocol ops teams) via Twitter DMs, Telegram, Discord, and LinkedIn
- Run product demos and handle the full sales cycle from first touch to onboarding
- Build and maintain a lightweight CRM pipeline (HubSpot, Attio, or similar)
- Gather user feedback and relay product insights to the founding team
- Represent PayOps at crypto conferences, Twitter Spaces, and community calls
You're a Great Fit If You
- Have 4-5 years in B2B SaaS marketing, sales, or growth — ideally at an early-stage startup
- Actually use crypto. You understand what a Safe multisig is, why USDC on L2 matters, and can talk to a DAO treasurer without sounding like a tourist
- Can write sharp, non-generic copy that resonates with a technical crypto audience
- Are comfortable doing outbound sales — cold DMs, follow-ups, demos — not just content
- Have run small-budget paid campaigns on LinkedIn or X and know how to measure CAC
- Are scrappy and self-directed — you don't wait for briefs, you create them
Bonus Points
- Existing network in the DAO/DeFi/Web3 ops community
- Experience with crypto-native tools like Coordinape, Utopia, Parcel, Gnosis Safe
- You've sold a fintech or payments product before
- You can create short-form video content (Loom walkthroughs, Twitter video)
Compensation
- Competitive base + performance bonus tied to pipeline and revenue milestones
