Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for a Sales and Event Coordinator at Vervve Hotels & Resorts. The Sales and Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting hotel and resort sales activities, including responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, maintaining client databases, and coordinating follow-ups with corporate and travel partners. The role involves planning and executing events and functions, managing event timelines, liaising with internal departments (front office, F&B, banquets, operations), and ensuring that client requirements are met. The coordinator will track event-related budgets, oversee event setups, and assist in post-event evaluation to improve future services. Daily tasks also include preparing sales reports, assisting in marketing initiatives, and maintaining professional relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and client relationship skills, with the ability to manage corporate, group, and event-related accounts.
- Event planning and coordination capabilities, including scheduling, logistics management, vendor coordination, and on-site event supervision.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, with clear written and verbal communication and a customer-focused approach.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, time management, and accurate documentation and reporting.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and hotel/CRM systems for managing bookings, proposals, and client data.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, hotel sales, or event management is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules and business needs.
