Duties/Responsibilities/Activities:
- Maintain and manage sales master data across CRM, ERP, and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Sales MIS reports for management review.
- Track key sales performance metrics including revenue, volumes, regional performance, and product-wise sales trends.
- Support analysis of sales performance across domestic and international markets.
- Develop dashboards and visual reports using Excel and BI tools for Sales Leadership and Business teams.
- Identify inconsistencies in sales data and coordinate with Sales, Finance, and IT teams for timely corrections.
- Assist in sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and variance analysis against targets.
- Support pricing, margin, and profitability analysis across products and regions.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support for business reviews, strategy discussions, and management presentations.
- Drive standardization and automation of sales reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in Sales Analytics / Business Analytics / Sales Operations / Commercial Analytics, preferably in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial organization.
Skillsets (Technical/Behavioural)
Technical:
• Advanced Excel expertise (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of formulas (XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH / SUMIFS)
• Pivot tables, charts, and dashboard creation
• Data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation
• Exposure to ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred)
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
• Understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights
