Job Title: Sales Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to support our sales team with data-driven insights and reporting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with sales data, preparing reports, analyzing trends, and assisting in improving overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends and business opportunities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and dashboards
- Monitor sales performance metrics and generate actionable insights
- Assist the sales team with forecasting, pipeline tracking, and target analysis
- Maintain and update CRM and sales databases accurately
- Coordinate with internal teams for data validation and reporting requirements
- Support management with market research and competitor analysis
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance sales efficiency
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of sales processes and business analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts, Formulas)
- Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau or CRM tools is an added advantage
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and maintain accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience in sales analysis/data analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL or basic data visualization tools will be an added advantage
