Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Activation Executive to join our team on-site in Hyderabad. The Sales Activation Executive will play an important role in supporting the business growth
in India. You will ensure seamless deployment of our product portfolio including NPD. You will
coordinate the execution of digital activation of the brand activities. You will lead the
development POSM to drive category growth and enhance brand visibility in various distribution
channels. You will implement the eCommerce strategy for India and ensure seamless daily
operations, including data analytics.
OBJECTIVE, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position, you will assume complete responsibility for the Sales Activation operations for
India. Your regular duties will include:
・ Portfolio: overseeing implementation and on-going management of local portfolio
・ Media agencies: Collaboration with local partners with focus on digital and social media
・ POSM Development: Develop and implement a compelling Point of Purchase (POP)
vision that ensures a consistent and appealing brand presence across different channels,
enhancing brand recognition and customer engagement
・ Tailored Channel and Category Planning: Develop jointly with Country Director
customized channel and category plans at the customer level, incorporating point-of-
purchase solutions.
・ Relationship Building: Cultivate strong external relationships by serving as the primary
contact and trusted source for sales teams regarding category-related inquiries, insights,
and recommendations.
・ e-Commerce Strategy: Implement the agreed strategy for India
・ Performance Tracking: Regularly monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify
growth opportunities for both customers and the business
・ Merchandising and Promotions: Provide data-driven recommendations for
merchandising and promotional initiatives to drive total category growth for both retailers
and the business.
This position is 70% office based and 30% field based. It reports directly to Country Director Indian Subcontinent and is part of the Country Team. It is also a member of eCommerce and Marketing community in the region.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
・ Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze market data, sales figures, and performance
metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
・ Communication Skills: Effective communication, both written and verbal, is critical for
conveying strategies, presenting findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-
functional teams.
・ Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel or
data visualization platforms, to extract insights from large datasets and create meaningful
reports.
・ Project Management: The capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set
priorities, and meet deadlines within budget constraints.
・ Presentation Skills: The ability to deliver engaging and persuasive presentations to
internal and external stakeholders to convey strategies, findings, and recommendations.
・ Adaptability: Being adaptable and responsive to changing market conditions, consumer
preferences, and emerging technologies.
・ Language Proficiency: In addition to local language, good knowledge of English is a
must
・ Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
・ Bachelor's Degree: a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or
a related field.
・ Category Experience: Previous experience within the FMCG sector is highly desirable,
and expertise in pet food or vet related field is advantageous.
・ eCommerce: A proven track record of eCommerce roles, showcasing a strong
understanding of customer engagement and category growth strategies.
・ Sales and Marketing: A solid understanding of sales and marketing principles including
social media, as well as knowledge of consumer behavior and retail dynamics.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
・ This position is based in Hyderabad
・ Candidate must be able to regularly commute to the office.
・ The role will include some travel within India
