Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Salad Chef based in Nashik. The Salad Chef will be responsible for preparing fresh, creative, and high-quality salads, ensuring proper portioning and presentation standards. They will also manage inventory for salad ingredients, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas, and collaborate closely with the kitchen team to meet customer demands efficiently. Additional responsibilities include innovating new salad recipes and adhering to food safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in salad preparation, creativity in recipe development, and knowledge of flavor pairings
- Experience in food handling, kitchen organization, and inventory management
- Understanding of food safety standards, hygiene, and sanitation practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality food presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and collaboratively with a team
- 2+ years of experience in culinary arts or a similar role, with an emphasis on salad or healthy cuisine
- Culinary certification or relevant training in cooking and food preparation is a plus
