About the Department
The Instructional Multimedia Technician will work closely with Instructional Multimedia Specialist to produce engaging, video-based learning content as part of online, hybrid, or training course development. This position will work closely with the instructional design team, maintaining an adaptable yet accountable media production workflow, and providing course media support as needed.
Position Duties
Support the Instructional Multimedia Specialist in managing the Instructional Recording Studio, including oversight of equipment, assets, and distribution processes.
Set up, operate, and maintain video recording equipment, including studio lighting and audio systems.
Minimum Qualifications
MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
Editing – Preferred editing with demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects) and TechSmith Camtasia.
Equipment - Preferred field and studio production setup and operation including professional lighting, camera, and sound equipment.
