Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Facade Work Safety Supervisor/Manager, based on-site in Thane. The role involves overseeing workplace safety on facade installation and construction sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting safety briefings and training sessions, implementing safety management systems, evaluating hazards, and investigating accidents to maintain safe and efficient operations across projects. The role will require collaboration with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to mitigate risks and improve safety practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety practices, Occupational Health management, and crafting site-specific safety measures
- Experience in Safety Training and promoting safety awareness among teams
- Proficiency in Safety Engineering principles and applications
- Ability to conduct thorough Accident Investigation and hazard identification
- Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of government regulations and compliance standards related to workplace safety
- Proven ability to handle emergency situations effectively
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science)
- Previous experience in the construction or facade industry is an advantage
