Job Description
We are looking for a Safety Supervisor to manage and monitor safety activities at project and maintenance sites in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain HIRA, Risk Assessment (RA), JSA, Work Permits, and safety reports.
- Coordinate and obtain required work permits before starting work.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit conditions.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety inductions, and safety awareness programs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and maintain safety records.
- Report and assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors on safety matters.
- Supervise and guide the safety team and ensure proper work allocation and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, client standards, and applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Safety Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH/IOSH is preferred.
- Experience in construction, engineering, fabrication, or industrial projects.
- Good knowledge of HIRA, RA, JSA, Work Permit, and safety documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and team management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
