Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Officer/Engineer located in Gobindpur. The Safety Officer/Engineer will oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards at renewable energy sites. Responsibilities include conducting site safety audits, facilitating safety training sessions, investigating incidents, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing effective accident prevention measures. The role also involves collaborating with team members to promote a culture of safety and providing recommendations and improvements to ensure operational safety.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Experience in Accident Investigation and managing Security requirements
- Ability to conduct Safety Training and promote awareness among team members
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and standards
- Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety are preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
- Experience working in the renewable energy industry or similar sectors is an advantage
