Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety policies, conducting occupational health assessments, leading investigations into workplace accidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves guiding and training staff on safety practices, identifying potential hazards, and mitigating risks to create a safe working environment. Collaboration with management, security teams, and operational staff will be key to this role.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety principles and Occupational Health practice.
Experience in Accident Investigation and implementation of safety measures.
Expertise in Security management and ensuring workplace compliances.
Proficient in developing and conducting Safety Training programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various teams.

Certification in workplace safety or relevant field is a plus.
Ability to handle pressure and take proactive measures in fast-paced environment
Familiarity with safety-related legal frameworks and regulations in India
