Job Description – Safety OfficerPosition: Safety Officer
Department: Project / EHS
Industry: Real Estate / Construction
Location: Greater Noida
Experience: 3-5Years
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering with Safety Certification (NEBOSH/IOSH/ADIS preferred)
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE by all workers and visitors.
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, and statutory records.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure fire safety equipment is available and regularly inspected.
- Liaise with government authorities during safety audits and inspections.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize workplace risks.
- Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
