Job Title: Safety Officer (Solar Industry)
Experience Required: 2+ Years
Location: Burhanpur
Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred
Salary: Depends on current salary package / As per company standards
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Safety Officer for our Solar Projects based in Burhanpur. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance at the project site and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations at the solar project site
Conduct daily/weekly safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Implement and monitor safety procedures and policies
Provide safety induction, toolbox talks, and safety training to workers and staff
Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports with corrective actions
Maintain safety documentation, checklists, and records
Monitor proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Coordinate with project and site management for hazard control and prevention
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer (preferably in solar/renewable sector)
Safety certifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferred)
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and site protocols
Good communication, observation, and reporting skills
Immediate joiner preferred
