Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Safety Officer located in Rourkela, Odisha. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, leading accident investigations, managing security measures, and delivering safety training programs. The role requires working closely with various teams to promote a safe working environment and mitigate risks effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety standards and implementation
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and regulations
• Experience in Accident Investigation procedures and reporting
• Understanding of workplace Security practices
• Strong ability to conduct Safety Training for employees
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to mitigating risks
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field
• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial safety is highly desirable
