Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing health and safety policies, conducting safety training sessions, overseeing occupational health compliance, and investigating accidents for prevention. Your role will also involve ensuring adherence to safety standards, managing workplace security protocols, and maintaining a safe operating environment within the organization.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health management
- Experience in conducting Accident Investigations with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Safety Training for employees and creating safety awareness
- Skills related to managing Security measures for organizational safety
- Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Certification in workplace safety, NEBOSH, or equivalent is an added advantage
