Urgent hiring for Safety Officer
Location: Ahmedabad (On-site
Profile: Safety Officer
Experience Required: 07 Years
CTC Range: 9 Lpa (depends on interview
Working Days – 6 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures in accordance with aerospace industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with national safety regulations and aerospace safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of laboratories, manufacturing areas, testing facilities, and launch preparation zones.
- Identify potential hazards in rocket manufacturing, propulsion systems, testing operations, and ground support equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive safety measures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events and prepare detailed safety reports.
- Organize safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees and engineers.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials such as propellants, chemicals, and pressurized systems.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to integrate safety into design and operational processes.
- Maintain safety documentation, audit reports, and compliance records.
- Participate in emergency response planning and conduct mock drills for fire, explosion, and evacuation scenarios.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in safety management, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, aviation, or heavy engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk management practices.
- Experience in handling hazardous materials and high-risk engineering environments.
