Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sanand for a Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, conducting workplace inspections, providing safety training, investigating accidents, and ensuring alignment with occupational health regulations. The role will engage with employees across all levels to promote a safe working environment and enforce compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Experience in conducting Accident Investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Ability to develop and lead Safety Training programs for diverse teams
- Knowledge in maintaining workplace security and emergency response procedures
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with regulatory health and safety compliance is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Certifications like NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar are an added advantage
