Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Dynemic’s manufacturing facilities in Bharuch. This role involves monitoring workplace conditions, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Safety Officer will conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, and will maintain accurate records and reports of safety performance and incidents. Daily responsibilities include organizing and delivering safety training, promoting safe work practices among all teams, collaborating with operations and maintenance staff to implement corrective actions, and coordinating emergency preparedness activities. The role also requires close interaction with management and regulatory bodies to support continuous improvement in safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health to manage workplace safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Security to support safe access control, protection of personnel, and adherence to site security protocols.
- Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training to develop, deliver, and evaluate training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Safety, Environment, Engineering, or a related field, and certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are beneficial.
- Experience in manufacturing or chemical process industries, knowledge of local safety regulations, and strong communication and documentation skills are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond effectively in emergencies, and use basic computer applications for reporting is required.
