Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Officer, based in Jamnagar. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety measures, conducting regular safety trainings, investigating workplace accidents, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a secure working environment. The role also involves proactively identifying potential risks and enhancing occupational health standards to promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety measures and Occupational Health protocols.
- Proven expertise in Accident Investigation and implementing preventive actions based on findings.
- Experience in delivering effective Safety Training to employees and ensuring compliance with safety practices.
- Understanding of Security protocols and procedures to maintain workplace safety.
- Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar and effectively collaborate across teams.
- Professional certification or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in an industrial or engineering-focused environment is an advantage.
