Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Officer located in Robertsganj. The Safety Officer will oversee workplace health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, leading accident investigations, delivering safety training programs, and implementing measures for occupational health and security. The Safety Officer will also work to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety management and Occupational Health practices
- Experience in conducting thorough Accident Investigations
- Skills in implementing Security protocols and safeguarding operations
- Ability to design and conduct effective Safety Training programs
- Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred)
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage
