Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Safety Officer to join our team in Mumbai. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, conducting regular safety training sessions, leading accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety standards. Additional duties include overseeing workplace security measures and fostering a culture of safety within the organization to minimize risks and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Experience conducting Accident Investigations and implementing preventative measures
- Knowledge of workplace Security protocols and procedures
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs
- Strong understanding of occupational safety regulations and legislation
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage safety documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field preferred
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage
