Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Executive in Construction, located in Mumbai. The Safety Executive will oversee and implement safety protocols on construction sites, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and conduct regular safety audits. They will collaborate with project managers to develop safety plans and training programs, monitor procurement and equipment standards, and ensure that all construction activities meet required safety standards. The role also requires thorough documentation and reporting on safety procedures and incidents.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Budgeting and Project Control for construction safety initiatives
- Experience in Procurement and managing resources for construction projects
- Strong skills in Construction Management and ensuring safety standards are integrated into project execution
- Proficiency in Project Management methodologies, particularly as they pertain to safety planning and risk mitigation
- Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and training capabilities
- Educational qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Professional certification in safety management or occupational health is an advantage
