Position: Safety EngineerJob Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor workplace health and safety policies at project sites. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement site safety plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at site.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety trainings, and awareness programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and fire safety measures are in place.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions for unsafe conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Safety Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Safety, or related field.
- Certification in Industrial Safety/NEBOSH/IOSH preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in construction/industrial projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
