Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Safety Engineer located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, developing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry and occupational health and safety standards. The role involves conducting inspections, evaluating workplace conditions, delivering safety training programs, and implementing measures to create a secure working environment. Additionally, the role requires monitoring construction safety and addressing security concerns to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Safety Engineering and experience in developing and implementing safety protocols
- Knowledge and application of Occupational Health standards and guidelines
- Understanding of Security measures and ability to address workplace risks
- Familiarity with Construction Safety processes and practices
- Experience in delivering effective safety and training programs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Certifications in safety management or related areas are considered an advantage
