Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into
your work with clients.
• Provide ongoing safety assessment and risk management, crisis intervention, crisis counseling,
emotional support and case management services of complex client cases
• Advocate on behalf of clients with both internal and external partners to increase client’s access to
benefits and resources; provide accompaniment as necessary and requested by clients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of case files, including funder reports

• Provides support and training for case management staff around Safety Assessment and Risk
Management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of case files, including funder reports
• Engaging residents in weekly individual case management sessions that focus on engagement, deescalation, risk management and safety assessment;
• Participating in staff meetings, case conferences, supervision meetings, trainings and other meetings
as required;
• Assisting in the daily operations of the work site to maintain adequate coverage, and a trauma
informed/ healing environment;
