Job Title: SAFe Agile Coach
Location: Remote
Shift Timings: 6.30PM IST to 3.30AM IST
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAFe Agile Coach to lead Agile transformation initiatives and drive the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across the organization. The SAFe Agile Coach will mentor leaders, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Product Owners, and development teams to improve Agile maturity, delivery predictability, quality, and business outcomes. This role requires strong coaching, facilitation, leadership, and change management skills to support enterprise-wide Agile transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Transformation & Coaching
- Lead and support enterprise Agile transformation initiatives using SAFe principles and practices.
- Coach executives, business leaders, managers, and teams on Agile values, Lean-Agile mindset, and SAFe methodologies.
- Assess organizational Agile maturity and develop transformation roadmaps.
- Identify and remove organizational impediments affecting Agile adoption and delivery performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.
SAFe Implementation & Enablement
- Guide the implementation and scaling of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains.
- Facilitate SAFe ceremonies including:
- Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Inspect & Adapt Workshops
- ART Syncs
- System Demos
- Scrum of Scrums
- Support Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices.
- Coach Product Management, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters on SAFe roles and responsibilities.
Team Coaching & Development
- Mentor Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, and Agile teams.
- Improve team performance, self-organization, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide hands-on coaching for Agile practices, estimation, backlog management, dependency management, and continuous delivery.
- Help teams adopt DevOps and continuous improvement practices.
Leadership Engagement
- Partner with business and technology leadership to align Agile practices with strategic objectives.
- Advise senior stakeholders on organizational design, governance, and operating models.
- Drive change management initiatives to support Agile transformation efforts.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and executive coaching programs.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track Agile and SAFe performance metrics.
- Analyze delivery trends and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Measure Agile maturity and transformation progress.
- Establish feedback loops and continuous learning practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Agile experience, including 3+ years as an Agile Coach or SAFe Coach.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
- Experience leading large-scale Agile transformations in enterprise environments.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP-ACC)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Technical Skills
- Agile Lifecycle Management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne)
- Agile metrics and reporting
- Lean Portfolio Management
- DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Value Stream Mapping
- Facilitation and workshop management
Preferred Experience
- Experience in large-scale enterprise Agile transformations.
- Experience coaching distributed and global teams.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern software development practices.
- Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Retail, or Technology sectors.
