Job Description
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer/Specialist with deep experience in Vulnerability Response and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) modules. This role involves building, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow to support efficient vulnerability remediation workflows, accurate CI data management, seamless integration between security and IT operations, and also to be a part of our expanding Product Engineering and Integrations team.
In this role, you will work closely with cutting-edge technologies and play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and impactful solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelors / Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 57 years of relevant professional experience in ServiceNow development and platform management.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, workflows, and custom application development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and MID Server integrations.
- Hands-on experience in custom application development, modules, forms, and workflows in ServiceNow.
- Experience in building and publishing applications to the ServiceNow Marketplace.
- Practical knowledge of CMDB ,ITSM, and Vulnerability Response processes.
- Familiarity with version control tools.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
- A meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Additional certifications like Certified ServiceNow Developer or Implementation Specialist will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module to support
vulnerability lifecycle management.
- Integrate external vulnerability data sources with ServiceNow via MID servers or APIs.
- Enhance CMDB capabilities to ensure high-quality CI data that supports accurate vulnerability
prioritization and risk scoring.
- Establish and maintain automated CI-vulnerability correlations to improve incident response
and risk mitigation.
- Develop custom workflows, dashboards, and reports for vulnerability tracking and
remediation SLAs.
- Collaborate with Security Operations (SecOps), ITSM, and Infrastructure teams to align
vulnerability response processes with business needs.
- Monitor and maintain CMDB health, including reconciliation, normalization, and CI
relationship mapping.
- Implement ServiceNow best practices for data governance, CI class models, and integration
management.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives by ensuring accurate and up-to-date CMDB and
vulnerability records.
- Participate in continuous improvement of SecOps and CMDB processes.
Mandatory Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Security Incident Response or Vulnerability Response.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or Security+.
