Engineer, Quality Assurance - SABTANK

Responsible for the performance, optimization and troubleshooting of the SABTANK facility control systems, advanced process control and instrumentation. Provide technical support and implement process improvements to maintain safety, reliability and efficiency of the operations. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and troubleshoot the SABTANK facility control systems and instrumentation. • Optimize the performance of the control loops and advanced process control strategies. • Analyze and interpret data from the distributed control system, advanced process control and other data historian systems. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, reliability and efficiency. • Support the development and implementation of automation and control system upgrades. • Support the commissioning and testing of new control system infrastructure and upgrades. • Participate in daily operations and maintenance activities as needed. • Provide training and knowledge transfer to operations and maintenance teams. • Ensure compliance with SABIC standards, procedures and regulatory requirements. Key Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation). • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in process automation, instrumentation and control systems. • Strong technical knowledge in PLC, DCS, SCADA and advanced process control systems. • Proficient in process data analysis, control loop tuning and troubleshooting. • Experience in supporting operations and maintenance activities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
