Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at S3B Global, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power our innovative products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create efficient algorithms, and implement secure and performant APIs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop backend services and APIs using modern technologies and best practices - Optimize database schemas and queries to ensure high performance and reliability - Implement secure and scalable data processing pipelines - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes - Continuously improve existing systems and infrastructure - Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration - Contribute to the overall technical roadmap and architectural decisions Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go) - Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) - Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment tools (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) - Understanding of RESTful API design and development - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities - Passion for technology and a drive to stay up-to-date with industry trends
