Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Converged Infrastructure Operations Engineer with expertise in managing and optimizing integrated compute, storage, and network environments, alongside strong automation, monitoring, and infrastructure security skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Converged Infrastructure Management
• Manage and maintain unified converged systems.
• Administer and optimize virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Integrate physical and virtual systems effectively.
• System Monitoring and Optimization
• Proactively monitor performance and availability.
• Address inefficiencies and conduct capacity planning.
• Incident and Problem Management
• Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking components.
• Drive RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and prevent recurrences.
• Automation and Scripting
• Use PowerShell/Python to automate tasks and workflows.
• Implement self-healing, scaling, and provisioning mechanisms.
• Lifecycle Management
• Handle deployments, upgrades, and hardware/software decommissions.
• Coordinate patching, vendor support, and warranty management.
• Security and Compliance
• Enforce security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Manage RBAC and secure access protocols.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with application, cloud, DevOps, and network teams.
• Support hybrid and cloud integration efforts.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain up-to-date configurations, architecture diagrams, and change logs.
• Deliver system health and performance reports to stakeholders.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
• Integrate infrastructure into DR plans.
