Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist in the Automotive Insights - Supply Chain and Technology and Aftermarket department at S&P Global, you will leverage advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques to uncover deep insights within the automotive industry. Your primary responsibilities will include analysing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and providing actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our products and services, enhancing our clients' ability to navigate supply chain challenges, technological advancements, and aftermarket trends. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and innovative thinking to drive impactful results and contribute to the continuous evolution of the automotive sector.

What You'll Do

Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to mobility
Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy to analyze and manipulate large automotive datasets.
Develop and implement machine learning models and forecasting techniques to predict industry trends and supply chain dynamics.
Leverage Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance data analysis and generate insightful reports.
Align taxonomies and data structures to ensure consistency and accuracy across various datasets and analytical models.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather domain-specific knowledge and incorporate it into data-driven solutions.
Consult with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced analytics into our products and services, ensuring they meet client needs.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive growth in the automotive sector.
Who you are

Possess over 3 years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning applications.
Proficient in building and optimizing data pipelines to handle large-scale datasets.
Proficient in productization of application on AWS
Experienced in developing and deploying predictive models to solve complex business problems.
Adept at working in multicultural teams, demonstrating excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic insights and innovation within the automotive industry.
