About the role

The Director, Enterprise Data Management, will be responsible for leading and managing the Enterprise Data Management team, which is responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide data strategies, governance, and infrastructure. This role will collaborate closely with business and IT leaders to design and execute data-driven solutions that address critical business needs and drive organizational performance. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing enterprise-wide data management strategies and solutions that enable the effective use of data as a strategic asset - Leading the Enterprise Data Management team in establishing and executing on data governance, data quality, and data architecture initiatives - Driving the implementation of data platforms, tools, and technologies to support the organization's data and analytics requirements - Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs, and aligning data management priorities and solutions accordingly - Promoting a data-driven culture by fostering data literacy, self-service analytics, and data-informed decision making - Managing a team of data management professionals and overseeing their professional development - Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management and championing innovation Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in data management, with a track record of leading successful enterprise-wide data initiatives - Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, data architecture, and data platforms - Proven ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate data and analytics requirements into practical solutions - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills - Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Experience managing and developing high-performing teams - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CDMP, CDMNE) a plus
