Role Description
We are hiring a Senior Rx Billing & Claims Specialist to join our core team. This role involves managing end-to-end pharmacy billing operations while leading a team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely reimbursements.
Work Mode: Onsite – Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit pharmacy (Rx) claims accurately
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Handle claim rejections and denials
- Coordinate with insurance companies, pharmacists, and patients
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations
- Maintain accurate billing records
- Follow up on unpaid or pending claims
- Manage prior authorizations and co-pay assistance
- Reconcile billing discrepancies
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of billing executives
- Assign tasks and track performance
- Train and onboard new team members
- Conduct quality checks and handle escalations
- Improve workflows and efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with pharmacy billing systems (PrimeRx mandatory)
- Knowledge of QS/1, PioneerRx, or similar
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers
- Familiarity with NCPDP standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
Education & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in pharmacy billing or healthcare RCM
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy or healthcare-related qualification (preferred)
