Job Description — RWE SAS Programmer

Role: RWE SAS Programmer Experience: 6–12 Years Location: Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAS Programmer with a strong background in Real World Evidence (RWE) / Real World Data (RWD) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large real-world datasets and translating them into meaningful analytical outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain SAS programs for RWE studies using real-world data sources such as claims, EHR, and patient registries
• Work with Common Data Models (CDM/OMOP) and Clinical Data Repositories (CDR) for data standardization and extraction
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and medical teams to support study design and analysis
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with project timelines
• Prepare and review analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs)

Must-Have Skills

• Extensive hands-on SAS programming experience (Base SAS, SAS Macro, PROC SQL)
• Prior experience in RWE/RWD projects
• Exposure to CDM, CDR, or OMOP data structures
• Familiarity with real-world data sources — claims, EHR/EMR, registries
