Graduate Trainee - IT infrastructure

Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide a comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems (MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle). Monitor database performance and support in identifying performance related issues. Learn and help perform basic backup, restore, and recovery tasks. Shadow senior database administrators and assist in day-to-day operations. Support in routine troubleshooting under guidance. Stay updated with new database technologies and best practices. Candidate Requirements Recent graduates with a degree in BE/BTech (IT, Computers), MCA, MSc IT, or related fields. Basic understanding of databases, SQL queries, and NoSQL concepts is preferred. Passionate about working in the field of database administration. Good communication skills and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work across time zones to collaborate with global teams. Certifications or academic projects related to databases will be an added advantage (optional).
