About the role

This position will provide support to the Payroll Manager for the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll and all associated payroll tasks such as tax filing, garnishments, child support, and other associated deductions as well as assisting with the timely administration of all related benefit programs.

Pay Range: $20.00-$26.00 Depending on experience.

Job Duties include:

Payroll

  1. Support the full life cycle of the employee, including but not limited to onboarding, job and pay changes, and terminations.
  2. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  3. Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
  4. Prepare and process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  5. Confirm that legally mandated and optional deductions have been processed correctly.
  6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
  7. Maintain current knowledge of IRS regulations.
  8. Provide support, and information to employees and departments in all aspects that relate to payroll.
  9. Work closely with other finance staff to ensure payroll and tax documents are accurate.

  2. Assist in resolving problems and inquiries with external benefit vendors.
  3. Prepare and generate required reports, for both payroll and benefit information.
  4. Prepare reports and work with vendors on audits and compliance reports.
  5. Provide support and respond to employee inquiries related to benefits.
  6. Any and all other duties as assigned by Manager
