Business Analyst

Responsibilities: Understand client requirements, business operations, sales and marketing performances and recommend the best possible data analytics solutions. Continuously add value to client engagements by tracking their business metrics, identifying trends and patterns, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Take up various data modelling and statistical modelling including customer cohorts, segmentation, customer life-time value analysis, loyalty and promotional analysis, marketing ad spend analysis, price optimization, demand forecasting. inventory optimization etc. Translate high-level objectives the management and external clients provide into testable, measurable and functional specifications. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and BI developers to draft solution architecture in response to the business requirements. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Respond to questions and concerns from members from different departments with supporting research and recommendations. Desired Candidate Profile: Experience in the data analytics domain, preferably in the e-commerce industry. Have in-depth knowledge of key business metrics across the functions and departments – sales, marketing, supply chain, accounting, finance etc. Good knowledge of data analytics technologies and services. Good knowledge of platforms like: CRM Platforms – Salesforce CRM, Netsuite CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Hubspot, Zoho, Pipedrive etc ERP Platforms – Salesforce, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Fulfil, Workday, Epicor, Sage Ecommerce – Shopify, Woocommerce, BigCommerce Digital Marketing – Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Email marketing (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign etc) Project Management: Asana, Jira, Slack, Trello, Microsoft Planner Fostering an ownership mindset to connect with stakeholders and address issues. Ability to manage internal and external team to achieve end-goals. Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile and Scrum). Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. Precision and attention to detail.
