Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Palghar for a rubber molding production supervisor. The individual will oversee daily production operations, manage production schedules and planning, ensure efficient use of resources, and lead a team to meet quality standards and deadlines. The supervisor will also enforce compliance with safety protocols and company procedures, while maintaining clear and effective communication with production staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Production Supervision
- Manage day-to-day moulding operations (Compression / Transfer / Injection)
- Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently
🔹 Problem Solving & Troubleshooting
- Identify root causes of defects, rejections, and delays
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
🔹 Product Development Support
- Work closely with the development team for new product trials
- Optimize moulding parameters for quality and productivity
🔹 Team Management
- Supervise and guide machine operators
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and skill development on the shop floor
🔹 Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
- Reduce rejection rates and improve consistency
🔹 Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (cycle time reduction, wastage control, efficiency improvement)
- Implement SOPs and standardization across processes
🔹 Machine & Tool Handling
- Ensure proper handling of moulds and machines
- Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
🔹 Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and rejection analysis
- Coordinate with management for daily updates
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in rubber moulding operations (mandatory)
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Hands-on experience with mould trials & product development
Leadership ability to manage shop floor teams
Understanding of rubber compounds, curing cycles, and moulding defects
Process-oriented and disciplined approach
